Rebar Buddy has developed a NON DUES Income program designed especially for not-for-profit construction related trade associations. The parameters are as simple as the Rebar Buddy itself. Heres the program.
Contact Rebar Buddy and request your interest in the non-dues income program. Your association will then be assigned a permanent file number. This file number will be used to track your sales volume and consequently help determine your non-dues income. The current frequent-buyer award has been set at 1% of your final sales volume. This figure does not include shipping handling, taxes, insurance or other costs. Simply the final sales price. You have three ways to offer the program.
Involvement Level "A":
Announce the opportunity to your membership (with brochures we will supply to you) and then collect orders from your members. After that, place a quantity order with Rebar Buddy making sure to include your pre-assigned file code number. Upon receipt of the Buddys, distribute them to your members or have members pick them up at your office. Involvement Level "A": will require you to bill your members. Rebar Buddy will then bill you for the entire shipped lot less 1% as your royalty; or we can bill you for the entire amount and then send you a quarterly activity awards check.
Involvement Level "B" (probably the cleanest approach)
Following the announcement of the Rebar Buddy by you (with brochures we supply) to your members, instruct your members to place orders with Rebar Buddy directly by using your pre-assigned association file code number. This number is important in order to properly identify the order as one you should be given credit. (For example, when ordering your members would simply identify themselves as a member of XYZ Assn. Account file #000). Rebar Buddy would then work directly with that individual member, record the sale on your behalf and then issue you a quarterly awards activity check.
Involvement Level "C"
This level is similar to becoming a direct wholesaler of Rebar Buddys. You would announce the product offering to your members. An inventory of Buddys would need to be warehoused by you for you to sell as orders are received from your members. This level would result in much more income for your association because you would be made a wholesaler of the product. It would also require much more effort on your part, regarding bookkeeping, billing, etc., but is available to your association as well. You will still be issued an account file # for record keeping purposes.
